1. Dampen lips with water or use a lip scrub.

Great product for dry lips
I’ve been using lip exfoliating scrubs to get rid of my dry skin, I was looking for a different alternative and came across this Glam By Manicare® Silicone Lip Brush. It’s affordable and was easily available. I wet my lips and use this to brush away all the dry skin on my lips. I always wear Mayte lipsticks so have smooth and soft lips is a must. During winter this was my must have because my lips tend to get super dry and peels away. This manage to get rid of the dry peeling skin and opened a new soft layer of skin. After using this I immediately used a lil balm and my lips were super soft.

Makes my lips smooth a great exfoliator
A great exfoliating tool for my lips, making them smoother and a perfect base to apply lipstick. The soft silicone brush gently exfoliates away dead skin.

Chap begone!
I bought this to help with my lip-picking problem; I get chapped lips and take off more than just the chapped parts when my habit kicks in. With the brush, I'm able to just remove the chapped skin and it leaves my lips soft and chap-free. I would recommend using it with a lip scrub if you have severely chapped lips as the brush can only remove so much on it's on, hence why I'm only giving it 4 stars.

Keeps my lips smooth
I keep this next to my toothbrush so that I remember to use it daily when I brush my teeth. It removes any dry crust from the lips and helps to keep them smooth. It's so noticeable that this does work when I apply matte lipsticks as there isn't 1 single bit of dryness on my lips. After I use the brush I always make sure to apply a lip balm which also helps maintain my lip condition. One of the sides of this brush is suppose to massage the lips to plump them up but I don't notice any plumping effects. Overall it's still a great product I love using to keep my lips smooth and free from dryness and cracks.

Smoother lips
Despite using lipbalm every day I still get a bit of chapping. I thought this might be a gentler option than a scrub, the silicone is soft but not too flimsy. It's dual sided with one side for exfoliating lips and the other side is for lip plumping. The exfoliating side is meant to be used on it's own or with water, so it's great for people who don't like the feeling of a gritty product on their lips or a heavy lipbalm. It's gentle but it leaves my lips feeling softer and smoother. All I need to do is rub it gently over my lips for less than a minute.
The other side is supposed to plump your lips, it's meant to be used with more pressure and I think that's a big part of the plumping effect, the increased blood flow etc..It doesn't work very well to plump my lips but I like the exfoliating effects it has and would recommend it on that basis.
