Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good for an affordable alternative I was sceptical about buying magnetic lashes, as last time I did, I learnt that the number of magnets is very important, and ended up binning the lashes.... Packaging: really should state how many magnets are on each lash. I scrutinised the packaging for the Pheobe style to figure it out. When I got home and opened them, I was very relieved that there was 4 magnets per lash... any less than that would have been rubbish. Magnets: whilst 4 magnets held the lashes on, I still had to firmly press on them throughout the night (6hrs+), to reinforce the contact. I also think that magnetic lashes should have a minimum of 5 magnets as standard. Eyeliner: I used my regular felt eyeliner first to shape my wing flicks etc. and then went over it with the Manicare magnetic liner in the spot I wanted the lashes to sit. I found that I needed to do 2 thick layers of eyeliner in order to place/replace the lashes successfully. The eyeliner and lashes passed my wind test (mostly)... My hair dryer was set on very high, and it only slightly displaced the lashes. As mentioned above, I wore them out for about 6 hours with lots of dancing, and for the most part they stayed put, but they did need to be checked every so often. The best part about that is you don't have to carry around glue and struggle to reattach them! Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase, and have already recommended to friends, but I do hope the standard improves on the quantity of magnets pretty lash.
